The MPAC was completed in late 2008 and was a student project completed through the Fleming College program for Sustainable Building. Building features are: earthbag/rubble trench foundation,locally sourced straw bales for walls,  rammed earth floor, hempcrete wall, straw/clay wall, cotton (recycled blue jean) insulation, geothermal system, and solar panels.
